Generating postal addresses for grandchild records

13.4.1

If a BLPU is a grandchild (it has a Parent BLPU, and that Parent also has a Parent BLPU), it is important to understand how LPIs are maintained to ensure consistency of data capture.

13.4.2

In this example of an office, the method for recording the grandchild property in LPI Records is shown.

In this situation, the grandchild created can be processed like other LPIs to produce this address:

Suite 3

Stevenage

13.4.3

This method can be further extended to great grandchildren, if necessary.
