The centreline of the Street can be created by aggregating all the ESU coordinates in sequence such that the centreline through the coordinated points always lies within the lateral extent of the Street, see Figure 11, Figure 12, Figure 13, and Figure 14.

If a Street is a ‘lollipop’ shape, the start point is at the base of the ‘lolly stick’ and the end point at the top of the ‘lolly’. There must be a break in the ESUs at this point because the extremity points of the ESUs must match the extremity points of the Street.

Where a hammer or turning head exists at the end of a Street it should only be recorded when it is at least 10 metres in length.
